Teaching

I would say for the past 12 hours, on and off, I've been attempting to come up with ideas for my lesson that I have Thursday.

This semester I'm in a rural school. I've never observed a rural school, I've never attended a rural school, basically I know nothing about a rural school or its students. Essentially, I'm scared of the unknown. I only know from what I've seen a far, and that's not a good choice, because essentially, it's generalizations, and nothing more.

No matter what "they" like to tell you, kids are not the same everywhere. My professor is coming to watch the lesson, and it will be my first lesson in months.

Yes. I'm nervous.
Yes. I have no idea what to teach them.
Yes. I need direction.
