Day 4--Favorite Book

I first read To Kill a Mockingbird in either eighth or ninth grade. I'm reading it again, this probably makes the third or fourth actually.

It's been a while, because as I read, there is plenty that I don't remember. Part of what made me enjoy it even more was once I saw the movie. Scout is my absolute favorite, she's unapologetic and "spunky". The issue of southern racism is always interesting to me, but the way in which Atticus Finch handles prejudice and teaches his children how to treat themselves and other human beings appeals to me.
